She is founder and full time professor-researcher at the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingeniería Campus Hidalgo (UPIIH) of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional where she participates in the Automotive Systems Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering Programs. He is a member of the Graduate School of the UPIIH-IPN, where he participates in the Master in Engineering and Design in Sustainable Systems and member of the National System of Researchers, of the Network of Experts in Automotive Systems of the IPN, of the Network of Nanoscience and micro-nanotechnology of the IPN, member of the Mexican Thematic Network for the development and incorporation of educational technology of CONACyT, known as LATE Network, member of the Mexican Academic Network for Public Transportation, member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) of UNESCO, member of the Comunidad Científicas Mexicanas A. C., member of the Chemical Society of Mexico, participating researcher in the Dolphin Program, Coordinator of the Virtual and Augmented Reality Club of the UPIIH and Mentor of the International Design and Engineering Education Association (IDEEA). Dra. Hernandez has been certified as a Mentor in the Sciences for an Inclusive and Productive Society by the British Council and Inova Consultancy and as a Mentor in the Education for Entrepreneurship Development Program. Certificate issued by the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University in collaboration with the Government of the State of Hidalgo, CITNOVA and HidalgoLab.
