Dr. Josué is a Mechatronics engineer who graduated from the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria en Ingeniería y Tecnologías Avanzadas (UPIITA-IPN). His graduate studies were also conducted at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from the Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica, campus Zacatenco (ESIME Zac), with a specialization in photonic instrumentation, where he graduated with honors. Also, he holds a Ph.D. in Communications and Electronics from the Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica, campus Culhuacan (ESIME Culhuacan), where he also graduated with honors. He has participated in various research projects, published articles in JCR journals, and contributed to human resources development by supervising undergraduate theses. His areas of interest include photonic instrumentation, optomechatronic systems and energies, artificial intelligence systems, computer vision and pattern recognition, virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality. Currently, he is an active member of the National Researchers System (SNII) and a full-time professor at the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingeniería campus Hidalgo (UPIIH-IPN), as well as a professor in the master’s program in Engineering and Design of Sustainable Systems at the UPIIH-IPN.
